Salsa Performance Course 2017

We are launching a brand new Salsa Performance Course, starting Saturday March 4th, for 8 weeks, from 6pm to 8pm. The course is designed for Intermediate or Advanced salsa students.

During the course, you will learn a brand new choreography taught by James and Alex, which you will get to perform at the Fujairah Latin Festival (4th to 6th May 2017).

Rehearsals will start on Saturday 4th March 2016 at 6pm and will run every week for two hours, for 8 weeks until April 22nd. We will also have a few rehearsals between this date and the festival, to get everyone who wishes to perform at the festival ready, as well as an opportunity to perform at our weekly social.

The cost of the performance course is AED 995*. This will include the performance course, additional rehearsals and an evening festival pass for the night you are performing on. If you wish to buy a full pass for the festival instead, the total cost of the course + pass will be AED 1,295*.

*Please note that this cost does not include costume costs.

During the course, you will learn a brand new choreography taught by James and Alex, which you will get to perform at the Abu Dhabi International Dance Festival (5th to 7th January 2017).

Rehearsals will start on Saturday 5th November 2016 at 6pm and will run every week for two hours, for 8 weeks until the 17th December. We will also have a few rehearsals throughout the Christmas period, to get everyone who wishes to perform at the festival ready.

The cost of the performance course is AED 995. This will include the performance course, additional rehearsals and an evening festival pass for the night you are performing on. If you buy a full pass for the festival instead, the total cost of the course + pass will be AED 1,295.

OUR SALSA COURSES ARE EXPANDING – Introducing Salsa Level 3.1 & 3.2

SALSA & BACHATA COURSES – September Session

You’ll be amazed at how much progress you can make in our 4-week courses! Our monthly salsa and bachata courses re-start in September, no experience or partner required.

Salsa Level 1 (for absolute beginners) begins Tuesday, 2nd September at 8pm and Saturday, 6th September at 5pm. Cost: AED 225 for once a week / AED 350 for twice a week

Salsa Level 2.1 begins Tuesday, 2nd September at 8pm and Saturday, 6th September at 5pm. Cost: AED 225 for once a week / AED 400 for twice a week

Salsa Level 2.2 begins Tuesday, 2nd September at 9pm and Saturday, 6th September at 6pm. Cost: AED 225 for once a week / AED 400 for twice a week

Bachata Level 1 (for absolute beginners) begins on Sunday, 7th September at 9pm. Cost: 225 AED.

All courses run for 4 weeks. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required. Registration can be done by phone, email or directly on our website.

*NEW* Children’s Dance Program

Right on time for the ‘Back to School’ season, the James & Alex Dance Studios are launching a brand new kids program. Composed of mainly Ballet, Jazz and Salsa, kids of all ages will now have the opportunity to aspire to be the next Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers.

Split between 4 age groups, catering to the little ones as young as 3 years old to teenagers up to 16 years old, classes will address all of their dancing needs. Classes will be held over 3 month terms, following the school year calendar.
