Latin Ballroom & Latin Mix
Latin mix is a special curriculum that brings together pure Ballroom dance forms with the Club Dances of Salsa & Jive and Bachata & Cha Cha.
Latin American & Ballroom dances are set of partner dances, which is danced and enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Each of the dances have a distinct mood and rhythmic interpretation. International Latin Ballroom is majorly divided:-

Latin American Dances are Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive and Paso Doble.
Standard Ballroom dances which are Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Quickstep and Foxtrot other than this we also teach the West Coast Swing, Hustle which are American dances.
Club Dances: Salsa & Bachata
They mainly originated from Cuba & Dominican Republic; generally danced on the streets and have pure fun element. It is lesser structured than the Ballroom dance forms.
Through this curriculum of Latin Mix, we are able to give you the best of both worlds.

What you will learn at the studio
Across 16 sessions you would be well versed with the Beginner Curriculum for all the 4 dance styles: Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha & Jive.
In the next Intermediate Level you learn more complex steps while lead and follow increase. By this time you would be seen being able to move very smoothly on the dance floor and also play around with music. This significantly enhances the fun element on the floor and be sure to stand apart and catch others attention!!
Post this Intermediate level, you can choose to continue with only 1)Salsa Bachata , 2) Advanced Latin Mix or 3) Advanced Latin Ballroom.
At an Advanced Level of Ballroom, we
- Introduce other dance forms like Rumba, Samba, Waltz, Ballroom Tango
- Silver and Gold level syllabus is covered
- Opportunity to participate in International competitions
- Strengthening Body Mechanic & Technicalities
These styles are a set of structured dances that have a set syllabus, which is universally recognized and starts with Pre Bronze Syllabus for the beginners.
Beginners – Basic steps with a few variations, general lead/follow, basic techniques of Pre Bronze Syllabus. The aim of the beginner level class is to create a social dancer who feels comfortable dancing with any partner on any dance floor.
Improvers – If you are already well versed with the beginners or dance experience in any other genre who is a fast learner, this class is designed to move you at a quicker speed, focusing more on technique, body mechanics, control, footwork, posture, poise and more intricate movements and syllabus going upto Bronze.
Advance– For the slightly more experienced dancers who has completed upto Bronze syllabus or who has trained in these dance forms for atleast 6 months. This will include Silver & Gold Syllabus along with the a touch of competitive techniques and mechanics.

What clothing should I wear?
Wear any comfortable clothing and shoes that won’t slip off your feet easily or don’t grip the floor too much. Dance shoes are a great investment especially for the women.
NOTE: Please remember you are dancing with a partner so personal hygiene is important.
Do I need a partner?
You don’t need a partner to join our classes. There are several people who come alone and we rotate partners during the class.
Am I too old to dance?
You are never too old to dance or to learn to dance! We have adults of all ages taking our classes so you will not feel out of place.
