SALSA XPERIENCE – The Ultimate Salsa Event

James & Alex Dance Studios along with Fantasia Entertainment are bringing you a salsa experience not to be missed. Three incredible events running throughout 2014 with the first one launching on June 20th 2014.

Doors open at 10pm with DJ Gabriel playing a mix of salsa, bachata and cha cha in an incredible venue at Meydan IMAX Theatre.

The performance line up will be an entertaining showcase of dance followed by an unforgettable party, an event not to be missed for anyone who loves latin music and dance.

SALSA & BACHATA COURSES – April Session

Looking for a fun, social, healthy activity? Then now’s your time to learn to dance! Our monthly salsa and bachata courses re-start this week, no experience or partner required.

Salsa Level 1 (for absolute beginners) begins Tuesday, 1st April at 8pm and Saturday, 5th April at 5pm.

Salsa Level 2.1 begins Tuesday, 1st April at 8pm and Saturday, 5th April at 5pm.

Salsa Level 2.2 begins Tuesday, 1st April at 9pm and Saturday, 5th April at 6pm.

Bachata Level 1 (for absolute beginners) begins on Sunday, 6th April at 9pm.

EASTER DRAMA CAMP – Singing & Acting for Kids

KIDS EASTER BALLET CAMP – Fun for the Kids

Enrol your little ones in our Easter ballet camp and give your kids a creative way to spend their Easter break! We’ll be running 2 sessions of the ballet camp open to kids ages 3 – 11.

Session 1: 6 to 10 April, 9am – 1pm, AED 500

Session 2: 13 to 17 April, 9am – 1pm, AED 500

PERFORMANCE COURSES – Coming this March

Are you itching to perform, be challenged, and take your dancing to the next level? Well now you can! Starting 29th MARCH, we’ll be running special 12-week performance courses in ballet, contemporary, tango and salsa.

Students must sign up for the full 12 weeks and will get to perform in our year end showcase on 20th June. Cost: AED 995 per course.

Ballet Course (12 weeks)
Intermediate/Advanced: Wednesday 7-8pm, start date 2 April (Students must attend 6pm ballet class as a warm-up which is included in the cost the course.)

Contemporary Course (12 weeks)
Beginner/Improver: Saturday 7-830pm, start date 29 March
Intermediate/Advanced: Tuesday 8-930pm, start date 1 April

Salsa Course (12 weeks)
Improver/Intermediate: Saturday 7-830pm, start date 29 March
Advanced: Wednesday 9-1030pm, start date 3 April

Tango Course (12 weeks)
Improver: Monday 9-1030pm, start date 31 March

CHA CHA – 4 Week Workshop

You asked and we listened! A special 4-week cha cha workshop taught by James and Alex.

Learn cha cha fundamentals, footwork, partner work and musicality. A basic knowledge of salsa is required.

The course starts on Saturday 8 March 2014 and runs for 4 weeks (15, 22 and 29 March) from 330 – 5pm. Students must sign up for the full course. Cost: 295 AED

CONTEMPORARY DANCE – New February Course & New Class

All you contemporary dance lovers! Our next beginners’ course starts on Sunday, 16 February at 7pm and runs for 5 weeks. Join this course and be amazed by your progress over the 5 week session! Spaces are limited and pre-registration is highly recommended.

We also have a new drop-in improver/intermediate class every Sunday at 8-930pm. No pre-booking is required which means you can satisfy your contemporary dance craving at the spur of the moment!

NEW KIDS TERM – Enrol now!

Our Spring 2014 kids’ term is in full swing and there are still a few spaces available in some our classes. We also have a NEW break dance classes for kids ages 7-11 on Tuesdays at 6pm. This is a great class for kids to burn off some energy!
